This Project: Family Matters is funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund
The Building Better Opportunities programme is funded by National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund (ESF) who are co-investing in local projects tackling the root causes of worklessness, promoting social inclusion and driving local jobs and growth.
Family Matters is one of four projects within this programme across the Black Country and will help people across Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley and Sandwell move into or closer to employment by developing their skills and confidence.
Family Matters is managed by the Black Country Together CIC in partnership with 16 local organisations across the Black Country.
Sandwell Consortium is one of those partners. We will be working alongside the following partners to deliver the project; Aspiring Futures CIC, Barnardo’s, Bloxwich Community Partnership, Changing Lives, Citizens Advice Walsall, Family Action, Gazebo Theatre, Gloucester Street Community Centre Ltd, Groundwork West Midlands, Lunch on the Run, Manor Farm, Phase Trust, Pre-School Learning Alliance, Sandwell Consortium CIC, Trident Reach, YMCA Black Country, YMCA Walsall, YMCA Sandwell.
As part of Sandwell Consortium CBO offer FREE support to individuals who are aged over 15 years old to develop their skills & secure employment. Activities include:
