The most isolated and hard to reach are worse affected due to many barriers including social isolation which is impacting on both their physical and mental wellbeing.

CBO is dealing with the most complex clients group suffering from multiple deprivations including language barriers, social isolations, unemployed with underlining health conditions and families of generational deprivations.

The successful completion of the Green Gym which will compliment the existing outdoor provisions of Play area/MUGA and community garden was a key milestone for CBO in achieving one of its key objectives. CBO will be very unique in providing both indoor and outdoor facilities targeting diverse client group and creating a holistic one stop shop and Hub for the community.

The development of the outdoor facilities enables hard to reach community where they can enjoy social, recreational and physical activities to improve both mental and social wellbeing. Combining both indoor and outdoor activities will enable CBO to reach out to most isolated and hard to reach families and create first of a kind community Hub in the area where everyone in the family can engage in activities under one roof.

“We would like to thank Big Lottery Fund for funding the project and Sandwell Council for granting 25 years lease enabling CBO to make this project into reality”
