Post: Room Leader
Hours : full time : 38 Hours per week
Salary: £10.00 – £10.50 P/H

Responsible to: Nursery Manager
Accountable to: Chief Executive
We are looking for a Room Leader with experience of running a quality Early Years and Childcare provision. Do you have an in-depth knowledge of child development, a passion to provide an enriching environment where children can thrive & achieve? Do you have qualities to work well in a team and motivate colleagues with new ideas?
Green Garden Community Nursery is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care, learning and development for all children. we are looking to recruit Experienced room leader required for September 2023 start. This is a key person role and the successful applicant will be required to observe and plan for their key group alongside managing and supporting staff in the day to day running of the room.
Candidates must have a full and relevant level 3 qualification in childcare and have excellent knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage. You must have a relevant experience of working with children under five and an understanding of child protection and safeguarding. Experience of working with children with Special Education Needs and Disabilities would be advantageous.
Successful applicants will need to undertake an Enhanced DBS (previously CRB) clearance.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 Qualification
- Passionate and motivated to make a difference
- Must be highly coordinated and cope well with larger groups of children
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exemplary understanding of the EYFS Framework
