Focusing on welfare to work agenda we provide free, independent and non-judgemental services. Whilst maintaining the community ethos our service is professional and quality audit are carried out by Sandwell Welfare Rights Unit. CBO is an active member and current Chair of Sandwell Advice Providers Network which is made up of advice providers in Sandwell including CAB, Sandwell Welfare Right Unit and other community based advice providers.
Our advice project is well recognised for delivering quality advice both within the community and also with our key partners and stakeholders.
Our team of advisors are multi-skilled and aim to provide one step services and can deal with queries relating to: general advice, welfare rights, immigration and nationality.
In certain cases we will refer you to other specialists.
CBO plays a key role through the Sandwell Advice Providers Network as a strategic voice for the advice sector in Sandwell. Our staff/volunteers are well trained and go through rigorous monitoring including quarterly audits by Sandwell Welfare Rights Service to ensure transparency and improved quality across the advice sector in Sandwell.
